In celebration of International Women’s Day, Calgary’s screening series
A League of Their Own is excited to present “A Night of Lust: Calgary”, a set of six XConfessions short
films from the renowned Barcelona-based adult filmmaker Erika Lust. Taking place
March 8th at Globe Cinema, “A Night of Lust” features a selection of explicit short films
that aims to inspire the audience with regard to their relationship with pleasure and sex.
Following the successful premiere of “Porncorn: A Night of Lust” in Barcelona last
December, “A Night of Lust” will mark XConfessions first public screening in North
America.
Founded in 2020, A League of Their Own is a monthly screening series at the Globe
Cinema in Calgary, Alberta. Programmed by Morgan Cairns, the series showcases notable
films from women filmmakers. Past screenings include “Cleo from 5 to 7” directed by
Agnes Varda, “The Farewell” directed Lulu Wang, and “Persepolis” directed by Marjane
Satrapi.
